SEVERAL people in Morchard Bishop play golf and last year Brian and Hannah Kyle decided to organises a friendly tournament for anyone in the village who was interested.
The second Morchard Bishop Golf Classic took place at Waterbridge on a lovely sunny afternoon with 14 people taking part and a great time was had by all.
It was organised by Anne and Howard Jones, Anne being last year's winner.
They also hosted a most enjoyable "bring-and-share" supper in the evening, when prizes were presented.
This year's winner of the Trophy was Andy Scoots and he and Dawn have agreed to organise next year's challenge.
Janet Symons was the winning lady. If anyone is interested in being on the list for next year (any age - they had young Jack Parkhouse taking part this year and he came second with Howard Jones third on a countback) please let Anne, Howard or Andy know.>
