THERE was a slightly larger crowd than usual at this year’s Dedication of the Garden of Remembrance beside the main gates to Crediton Parish Church on Saturday morning, October 29.

The Rector, the Rev Matthew Tregenza, led the short service with the Rev Lewis Eden. The Exhortation was read by Crediton branch Royal British Legion chairman, Pam Dobson.

Wooden crosses were then planting in the roped off area of the Garden. It is there for anyone to plant their own wooden Poppy cross.
