THE Crediton Friends of Hospiscare are holding a Coffee Morning at Crediton Methodist Church Hall on Saturday, October 15 from 10am to 12 noon.

Admission will be £1 to include tea/coffee and biscuits and stalls will feature Christmas cards, plants, new goods, bric-a-brac, cakes and a raffle.

Later that day at Buccaneer’s Bar in East Street, Crediton, “Soul Traders” will play authentic soul and blues music and cover hits by Sam and Dave, Wilson Pickett, Smokey Robinson and The Miracles, Martha Reeves and The Vandellas, Otis Redding, Aretha Franklin and other legends of the Soul and Motown Era.

Doors open at 7.30pm and admission is £8 on the door. All profits raised will be for the Hospiscare Friends.

Saturday, October 29 will see the Wyndham Singers, a male vocal group, and the Hospiscare Choir perform at the Boniface Centre in Crediton at 7pm for a 7.30pm start.

Tickets priced at £5 are available from the Hospiscare charity shop in Crediton High Street and include a glass of wine or soft drink.

Coming up later, on Friday, November 11, will be the ever-popular Ladies Pamper Night, which will be held at the Boniface Centre, Crediton. More details about this evening will be available nearer the time.
