WINKLEIGH Fair provided fun for all the family last month.

The week-long event included a balloon race, cricket match, barbecue and bouncy castle, car boot sale, dog show, produce show, bingo and a treasure hunt.

There was a disco for the children, an evening walk, pub games, a farmers' market and rural skills event and a vintage car rally.

The children's fancy dress competition had a "Devon life" theme and there was also a recycling workshop.

There was a talk on insects and reptiles, a folk band and a fun "It's a knockout" type event called the "Yokel Scramble".
