A COMPETITION, which was organised by Mark Norman of Crediton Library to celebrate Shakespeare Week, was won by Freya Jones (13).

There were a total of 21 entries from children and young people aged from eight to 15 years.

The entrants filled in a question and answer sheet about Shakespeare and there were 10 picture clues available for those who needed extra help.

Freya, a pupil at Queen Elizabeth’s School, was presented with a £10 book token which she plans to put towards the Sherlock Holmes Collection of books.
