GILL Pearn, the chair of the Crediton Marie Curie Fundraising group was delighted to receive a cheque for the value of £200 at their recent meeting.
The cheque was presented by the Worshipful Master Alan Stanistreet of the Crediton Masonic Club.
The meeting was also attended by a few other Masons from Crediton.
Gill gave grateful thanks on behalf of the Fundraising group and said the money would help enormously to benefit those who were receiving end of life care.
Marie Curie provides vital care and support to people living with a terminal illness, and their families at the toughest time.
It said that £207 helps to fund nine hours of overnight nursing care in a patient's home.
