MID Devon District Council has approved some free car parking days in its long-stay car parks prior to Christmas.

The free parking will run from 8am to 6pm at St Saviour’s Way car park (Crediton High Street car park) in Crediton tomorrow, Saturday, December 17 and on Christmas Eve, December 24.

Free parking was also available on December 3 and 10.

There will also be free parking from 8am to 6pm in the Station Road car park, Cullompton tomorrow, Saturday, December 17 and at Tiverton’s Mult-storey car park on the same date, December 17, from 6am to 8pm.

Mid Devon District Council says the free parking on the Saturdays in the run-up to Christmas has been arranged to enhance trade in the district’s market towns and to support local Christmas programmes.

Normal parking charges apply at all of the above car parks on all other days.
