DO you love a good story?
Storytelling is an accessible way to promote well-being.
Studies also suggest that storytelling is one way to build happiness and resilience and is a fabulous way to get to know other people.
Westbank is inviting people to join a free, captivating, Storytelling group taster during Credfest, in a friendly relaxed atmosphere taking it in turn to share verbal stories.
Those attending can tell a story or simply, listen to other peoples stories.
Stories can be made up of traditional tales, something from memory or an interesting experience you may have had.
Stories should be no more than 10 minutes each. Refreshments will be provided.
Following the free taster, (choose from one of two dates) Westbank will be running regular fortnightly sessions at the bookshop as part of Westbank’s Healthy Neighbourhoods project.
The taster sessions will take place on Wednesday, June 12 and run from 10.30am to 12.30pm and on Wednesday, June 19 from 1.30pm to 3.30pm, both at Crediton Community Bookshop.
