CRISIS’ Christmas appeal captured the heart of Freddie Hubber (5), a pupil at Landscore Primary School, and he decided he needed to help.
He realised that the money in his piggy bank was not going to achieve much so he started to think about how he could fundraise to help the homeless.
With support from his parents, Kayleigh and George, and older sister Olivia, Freddie planned a cake sale after school.
His cake sale on Monday, December 2, raised more than £135, which means that five homeless people can have a place at a Crisis Centre over Christmas.
