TO enhance trade in the Mid Devon market towns in the run up to Christmas, and to support local Christmas programmes, 24-hour free car parking will be available in Mid Devon District Council’s long-stay car parks.

In Crediton there will be free parking at the St Saviour’s Way Car Park on Saturday, November 24 (Christmas lights switch-on), Saturday, December 8, Saturday, December 15 and Saturday, December 22.

At Cullompton in the Station Road Car Park, there will be free parking on Saturday, November 24 (Christmas lights switch-on), Saturday, December 8, Saturday, December 15 and Saturday, December 22.

In Tiverton, in the Multi-Storey Car Park, there will be free parking on Saturday, December 1 (Christmas lights switch-on), Saturday, December 8, Saturday, December 15 and Saturday, December 22.

Normal parking charges apply at all of the above car parks on all other days.

Mid Devon District Council says it is pleased to offer free parking for each of our towns in the build up to Christmas again this year. A spokesperson said: “It’s great news for shoppers and local businesses alike, providing a great local shopping experience for all who come to visit Mid Devon.”
