BY the end of Friday, May 18, the flower beds around Yeoford School were looking a lot more presentable.

Last year the PTA had provided raised beds. There were already several tractor tyres that had been used as planters which were cleaned of weeds and planted with flowers while seed potatoes went in the raised beds.

Headteacher Mr Peter Halford said they had been using the garden for Forest School and outdoor learning, making the most of the school grounds.
