DEVON and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service specialist animal rescue team from Exmouth and a crew from the service Urban Search and Rescue team from Clyst St George, were sent to assist a farmer in the removal of a young cow that had become stuck in a stream at Tedburn St Mary.

The service was called to attend the incident at about 10.31am on Monday, May 11.

Crews used the animal rescue kit and small tools to release the cow unharmed.
