SANDFORD Congregational Church Support Worker, Adrian Wyatt, travelled to Sandford from Bristol in horrendous weather on Monday, November 21, to show the film White Christmas.

White Christmas, starring Danny Kaye and Bing Crosby, not only had a great story, but had a happy ending and wonderful songs including White Christmas and colourful and superb dance routines.

If only they could make films like that nowadays! The hall was packed for the show, and during the film the Three “M’s” Marion Nosworthy , Mandy Tothill and Marilyn Winter, took around ice cream cones, greatly enjoyed by all, in fact it was a wonderful afternoon, despite the weather!

Marion says their next film show, another musical will be on Monday, January 23, at 2pm.
