FATHER Christmas was the guest of honour at the Friends of Bow School Christmas Fair held at the school.

He was kept very busy talking to dozens of children and parents or guardians during the after-school event.

One of the stalls was selling Sweets for Santa, while another sold Reindeer Food for his pending visit.

There were, however, many other stalls including crafts, a lucky dip, coconut shy, ring toss game, tin stack, games, Christmas present ideas, temporary glitter tattoos, and many more.

There was a Guess the weight of the cake competition?, a draw and many stalls where children had made items, including Christmas decorations.

Children could have their faces painted and popular games were What’s Your Elf Name? and Where’s Santa Hiding?

Head Teacher Lesley Hodgson, said that the amount of money raised at the Christmas Fair was a whopping £1,575.72.

She added: "The FoBS team and school are absolutely delighted with this amount and our grateful thanks go out to all of the FoBS team for their incredible hard work and everyone who attended the event."
