LOCAL charity Connect held its third curry and quiz night at the Boniface Centre in Crediton on Saturday, January 25 which saw 126 people enjoying the evening.

Wendy Añez, chair of the local support group for Connect in Crediton, thanks all who helped with the planning, setting up and decorating of the venue, cooking and clearing away on the day. She gave special thanks to a group of young people who went along to help serve and clear tables all evening and also run the raffle.

Thanks to David Smith from Crediton Methodist Church who conducted the quiz and also to those kind friends and Crediton businesses who donated raffle prizes (Olivia James, Four Seasons and Chef’s Choice).

The total raised on the evening, after expenses, was £1,275.23 which is a fantastic amount. Thanks again to all involved in any way.
