DEVON Earth and Faith Network will hold a Panel debate entitled “Faith, Belief and Climate Justice - A Call to Action at the Friends Meeting House, Wynyard, Magdalen Street, Exeter (EX2 4HU) from 2.30pm to 5pm on Sunday, September 22.

Alison Whittall, from Crediton, one of the organisers, explained: “At a time of immense environmental and ecological challenge, it is essential that the world’s faith traditions engage more fully in what we may call planetary awareness and action.

“This Panel, from a variety of faiths/beliefs, will encourage people to come together in an atmosphere of open enquiry to inspire action, share information and insight, galvanise transformation and unity.

Speakers will be from various traditions and beliefs including: Quaker, Christian, Jewish, Buddhist, Hindu, Humanist and Muslim.

It will be followed by a question and answer session.
