AFTER three weeks of fabulous creativity by people of all ages at the Crediton Heart Project’s summer arts workshops there will be an exhibition to showcase some of the work produced.

It will be held on Sunday, August 28 from 10am to 2pm in the marquee between Tesco and Redlands surgery, where the workshops took place.

It will include pottery, graffiti art, cyanotype prints (made using sunlight), jewellery and a magnificent wise old owl created during the willow sculpture workshops.

There will also be photographs of the workshops and music from the two evening concerts held in the marquee.

“More than 100 people have taken part in 15 workshops, ranging from creative writing to robot making,” said Heart Project Chair Rosemary Stephenson.  “We’ve had people of all ages, from five to 85, coming along to learn new techniques or to just have some creative fun.

“We’ll be offering free drinks and snacks so we hope people will drop in during the morning to help us celebrate and enjoy some of the amazing things they’ve created.”
