EMMA Healey of Way To Fitness, based in Sandford, held a 12 Days of Christmas auction to raise funds for Crisis@Christmas.

Starting on November 9 Emma auctioned two promises a day - all donated by members and businesses - via Facebook, and the auction finished on Sunday, November 21.

"I had amazing support from my members and a number of businesses large and small donated some fantastic lots for auction," explained Emma.

"Diana, a Pilates member from Upton Hellions, offered a Border in a Box, and Suzie Yates donated one of her fabulous Pink and Greens 2022 Calendars.

"Sandford Orchards donated a gift pack of three bottles of cider, while Crealy Adventure Park offered a day pass for a family of four worth over £80! There were lots of other gifts and services, all of which made a fantastic set of lots to auction over the 12 days."

After 12 days of frantic bidding Emma was delighted to announce that the auction had raised a massive £915.50 for Crisis@Christmas.

"That will fund more than 31 places in the Crisis centres over the Christmas period which is an absolutely fantastic result," said Emma.

Emma continues to run a mix of online and in-person Way To Fitness classes in Sandford and Exeter suitable for all abilities.
