SUNDAY 30

3pm - Concert with the Haldon Quintet present a concert in Holy Cross Church, Crediton. Refreshments will be served after the concert in the Boniface Centre, they are included in the price of the ticket. Tickets £20 or £10 for students. Free for Under 18’s. 3pm - Afternoon Tea, Jubilee Hall, Chawleigh, £7 per person, in aid of hall funds.

10am to 4pm - and September 5 and 6, Sewn Together, an exhibition of locally handmade quilts and textiles, St Matthew’s Church, Coldridge, free admission, donations welcome, donations to Devon Air Ambulance and St Matthew’s Fabric Fund.

7.30pm - Auction of Promises, Exeter Inn, Thorverton, catalogues from August 27 at Thorverton Post Office, many lots, proceeds to go to repair and restoration of Thorverton Church.

10am to 1pm - Craft Fair, Boniface Centre, in aid of Crediton Parish Church.

3.30pm - Public viewing opens, Chulmleigh and District Garden Society Autumn Show, The Pavilion, Chulmleigh.
