THURSDAY 19

10am – “Jam Babies”, free creative play and music sessions for preschool children with their carers, at the Bookery in partnership with the Turning Tides Project.

2pm to 3pm – Crediton Courier drop-in, Crediton Library.

5pm – Family fun fair, Lord’s Meadow, Crediton, free entry. Open weeknights from 5pm and Saturday and Sunday from 1pm. Last day Sunday, June 22.

10am to 1pm – Crediton Farmers’ Market, Town Square.

10am to 5pm – Morchard Bishop Flower Festival, St Mary’s Church. Based on the theme of fairy tales. Adults £1, children go free. Refreshments in the memorial hall from 10.30am to 4pm, bacon baps, cakes and tea and coffee. Also on Sunday, June 22 10am to 4pm.

12 noon to 4.30pm – Sandford Millenium Green 25th Anniversary Big Picnic. Live music, games, bar, tea and cake. Wear green and bring flag, picnic, blanket and chairs. Old photos of green welcome. Free event. Parade beforehand 11.30am, assemble 11.15am in the square.

12 noon to 10.30pm - Tawland Music Festival, North Tawton Rugby Club, ticket only, Pre purchase tickets from Merry Go Round, Donalds Menswear or online

12 noon – History and politics book group at the Bookery. Discussion will be centred around The Seaside by Madeleine Bunting. New members welcome.
