THERE are three forthcoming concerts which should not be missed.
The wonderful Crediton Youth Orchestra is this year celebrating its 10th anniversary and to mark the occasion will be hosting a concert in the QE Dining Hall and Atrium at Western Road on Sunday, May 17, from 7pm.
All are invited to attend the 10th Anniversary Celebration to enjoy performances by members, past and present, joined by friends and family musicians.
There will be free entrance and refreshments available with a retiring collection.
The concert is supported by Devon Music Education Hub, Crediton Town Band and Crediton Town Council.
The day before, on Saturday, May 16, Crediton Town Band will hold its Spring Concert at Crediton Parish Church, beginning at 2.30pm.
The band will play some of the public’s most requested music and will also present many new pieces.
Guests for the Concert will be the Ad Hoc Singers, the hugely popular local singing group.
Entry will be free with a retiring collection.
The Town Band is in its 41st year.
It is a non-contesting brass band which concentrates on playing concerts and community events throughout the year.
It comprises a mixture of local people of all ages and abilities who enjoy playing music together.
New players would be welcome to join.

Refreshments will be served during the interval.
Whilst there is no entrance fee, the suggested donation for the event will be £10 per person.
Profits will go towards the church’s operating costs.
