A FREE Jubilee Flag-making workshop was held on Crediton Town Square on Thursday, June 2 as part of the Right Royal Jubilee Bash.

Local children and young people enjoyed making their own Jubilee flag with artist Charlotte Turner and her son Jake.

Children were also taking part in other crafts with members of The Turning Tides Project including making bunting, decorating key rings and making badges.

Crediton Town Mayor, Cllr Liz Brookes-Hocking was on a stall serving refreshments and encouraging people to help themselves to produce from the Crediton Community Larder to help save food waste.

Town Crier, Kevin Payne, read the proclamation during the event.
