THE Friends of Crediton Library recently organised an Easter Draw, with a prize of an enormous hamper of chocolate, donated by members of the Friends of the Crediton Library group.
There were more than 100 entries in the competition and the prize was won by Miriam, Martha and Adam.
It was presented by Judith Ezard, the secretary of the Friends of Crediton Library.
All money from the Easter Draw is to used to help subsidise children’s events in the Library during the summer holiday.

Just two-thirds of A&E arrivals at the Royal Devon University Healthcare Trust seen within four hoursThe Library has a fun, free Easter trail activity running all through the Easter holidays for younger children.
They can hunt for eight hidden eggs in the Library and match them up to the animals on a trail sheet.
There will also be a clay workshop from 2pm to 4pm on Thursday, April 13, suitable for children aged eight to 12 years-of-age.
It is a hands-on workshop where children will learn some clay modelling techniques and will be able to make their own clay sculptures. All materials will be supplied. The cost is £3 per ticket, in advance from the Library.
