THERE were 85 entries for the Easter Bunny Competition with entrants ranging from 23 months to 61 years of age.

The competition was organised by Sasha Snell of Sarah’s Barber Shop and Elaine Gregory of The Sandwich Shop.

The winning entries were drawn at random.

The winners were: 1 Mani Fynn (9), 2 Aston Harvey (8) and 3 Tomas Harris (6). They each won a hamper containing lots of chocolate "goodies".

There were 20 runners up who each received a small Easter Egg.

Pictures of bunnies were displayed in the windows of shops and businesses in the town and entrants had to find the bunnies that were named.

The correct answers were: Smarter Accounting - Bluebelle, Crediton Community Bookshop - Acorn, Crediton Cobbler - Dandelion, Hospiscare - Buckthorn, Fly Fishing Tackle - Peter Rabbit, James Antiques - Hazel, Brainwave - Miffy, Olivia James Design - Bigwig, A J Cox - Silver and Kirton Clothing Company - Pipkin.

Sasha and Elaine thanked everyone that took part and a big thank you went to Susan’s Flower Shop for wrapping all the hampers and to those who donated prizes.
