AN Easter Bingo will be held at Chulmleigh Pavilion on Saturday, March 24 to raise funds for the Devon Ambulance Response Team (DART) vehicle.

Doors open at 6.45pm and eyes down will be at 7.30pm. Prizes will include chicken dinners, chocolates and wine.

Refreshments will be available.

DART raises funds to help provide that early intervention, particularly in rural and remote areas where response times for the emergency services may be longer. The Chulmleigh-based charity has a five-year plan to extend its support to all ambulance first responders, in both community and co-responding groups across Devon.

In Chulmleigh, which is the pilot project for the charity, DART provided a 4x4 and other equipment and will fund approximately half of the running costs.
