IT is only just over two weeks to go and Crediotn Lions still have places available for anyone who would like to amaze themselves and their friends as they walk on fire at the Lions Great Crediton Firewalk.
No special skill is needed, full understanding and training is provided by Scott Bell, the World champion Firewalker.
Lion Peter Bryan explained: “You will be able to do something you never thought possible and at the same time raise much needed funds for Crediton Lions.
“You will not be able to enter on the day but we will accept entries up to the day before.”
Entry is £25 via: eventbrite.co.uk, the link is also on: www.creditonlions or simply Google: secondgreatcreditonfirewalk.
Those who wish to take part are invited to ask friends and colleagues to sponsor them on the JustGiving platform. Paper sponsor forms are also available on application.

Peter, who is taking part in the challenge for the second time, added: “In 2024 1,800 walkers raised a staggering £5,000 and Lions hope to get near that figure again, but that needs you, our excellent Crediton volunteers to step forward and enjoy a challenge that so few believe possible.
“Come along and join me as together we step out on the coals on October 4.
“I’m looking forward to it and hoping to raise as much as last year.”
Every one of the fire walkers who took part last year walked across the hot coals at least twice.

They all received a certificate to mark their achievement.
Champion firewalker from last October was Sheila who personally raised almost £1,000.
Sheila said: “If I could do it in my 80’s, then I’m sure you can. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience.”
