MARY and David Nunn, from Cheriton Fitzpaine, who are the Devon representatives for the St John Eye Hospital Group in Jerusalem and the occupied Palestinian territories, recently attended a preview screening, in London, of a short documentary Eyes of St John.

The film was produced by supporter Vanessa Redgrave, and directed by her son Carlo Nero, whose own son Rafael was the sound recordist.

After the film, there was a question and answer session with the film-makers, the CEO of the Hospital Group and an Opthalmic Surgeon from Moorfields Hospital, who has overseen much of the Graduate Training in the Area.

The film is excellent, and has already won an award in the USA. It will soon be available to be shown locally and any organisation wishing to see it, and learn more about the charity, should please contact David or Mary Nunn on 01363 866030.
