A CURIOUS Courier reader picked up a number of books left by the roadside on the morning of Saturday, July, 28.

The books were picked up between Shobrooke and Raddon Cross and over the next six miles to Silverton.

In total 18 books were picked up.

Does anyone know why these books were left at the side of the road?
