DEVON County Ploughing Association held its 2022 Presentation Luncheon at the Waie Inn, Zeal Monachorum on Sunday, October 30.

The Waie Inn provided those attending with an excellent lunch which was followed by the Presentation.

The Chairman congratulated all of the societies on their respective ploughing matches.

Devon Ploughmen who had been successful at the local matches were as follows:

Semi Digger - 1 Donald Tonkin from Cheriton Fitzpaine, 2 Bill Tonkin from Cheriton Fitzpaine.

Vintage Trailed class - 1 Martin Smale from Crediton, 2 Peter Stone from Kingsbridge, 3 Ross Hext from Cheriton Fitzpaine, 4 Graham Soper from Totnes.

Vintage Hydraulic - 1 Colin Heard from Holsworthy, 2 Will Voisey from Ottery St Mary, 3 Kelvin Phillips from Tiverton.

Classic - 1 Paul Studley from Honiton, 2 Richard Hartnell from Honiton, 3 Colin Sanders from Exminster, 4 Norman Bulled from Cheriton Fitzpaine.

Ferguson T20 - 1 Eddie Vigers from Crediton, 2 Rachel Reed from Bickleigh.

Reversible Ploughing - 1 Sam Reed from Bickleigh, 2 Michael Pincombe from South Molton, 3 Paul Pincombe from Witheridge.

Young Farmer Award - Michael Hayball from Cullompton.

Overall Champion Ploughman was Donald Tonkin.
