THE new deputy president of the South Western Society of Chartered Accountants is Crediton's David Wortham, a partner of the firm Wortham Jaques. The SWSCA represents more than 2,5000 working and retired members of the profession in Somerset, Devon and Cornwall

David's Crediton practice consists mainly of small businesses but his main specialism is working with charities and non-governmental organisations.

These days David works mostly in England but has travelled to Africa, Asia, the Caucasus, the Middle East, the Balkans and Eastern Europe as an auditor and accountant for NGOs.
