CREDITON Town Council has announced that this year’s Christmas in Crediton celebrations and Lights Switch-On will take place on Saturday, November 26.

Crediton Town Council said: “Join us for this year’s Christmas in Crediton celebrations on the Town Square on Saturday, November 26.

“From 2.30pm onwards there will be festive entertainment to get you in the Christmas spirit including a Punch and Judy show, festive entertainers, school choirs, morris dancers and music from ‘The Lost and Found’.

“Following the success of the summer flag project and Jubilee flag workshop, you can also take part in the Festive Flag printing workshop.

“Later in the afternoon, a parade of lanterns, made by local community groups and schools, will light up the town.

“Grab yourself a tasty treat, a warming tipple and join in the countdown with Father Christmas to see the town’s new Christmas lights at their finest.”
