MANY people from across Crediton and the area took part in a fourth national applause of thanks for key, care and health workers helping in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic on Thursday, April 16. Again many pots and pans were also bashed.

The organisers of the Clap for Carers campaign started it online and said it was being staged because "during these unprecedented times, (NHS staff) need to know we are grateful".

A number of national landmarks were lit up especially to say thank you on this occasion and the during previous weeks.
