CREDITON Town Band will be holding a special rehearsal for young brass players on Sunday, April 15, from 9.30am to 10.30am.

The rehearsal will be taken by Mr Josh Westripp, local music teacher and Mr Chris Richards, musical director, Crediton Town Band.

Band member Eric Parkes said: “This should be a most enjoyable music session and we would like to invite all young brass players to attend.

“Parents will be welcome to attend as well.”

The rehearsal will be held in the main school hall at Hayward’s Primary School.

AND A PERCUSSIONIST

The band is also urgently seeking a percussionist/drummer and would like to hear from anyone who is interested.

The band has been without a regular percussionist for some years and has always had to recruit players for its concerts.

Those with limited experience would be welcome to get in touch as training can be given.
