WORLD Day of Prayer is an international, inter-church organisation which enables us to hear the thoughts of women from all parts of the world.

This year the women of Slovenia, one of the smallest and youngest countries in Europe, have prepared the service.

Their theme is “Come-Everything is Ready”.

The day of prayer is celebrated in more than 120 countries. It begins in Samoa and prayer in native languages travels throughout the world - through Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Europe and the Americas before finishing in American Samoa some 38 hours later.

In Crediton, members from all four Crediton Churches will lead the service at 2pm in the Boniface Centre on Friday, March 1.

An invitation is warmly extended to everyone of all ages to join in this wave of prayer.
