DURING the past 13 years, as part of their preparations for Advent, children, adults and friends from Crediton Methodist Church fill shoeboxes and gift boxes for The International Aid Trust.

These shoeboxes, aid and other gifts will join 1,000 shoeboxes at the home of June and Adrian Redfern in Copplestone and will then be taken to Lancashire.

In all 40,000+ shoeboxes and aid will leave Lancashire during the Christmas period and the course of the next year to go to countries such as Mexico, Cuba, Sierra Leone and many countries in Eastern Europe.
