CREDITON Library is delighted to host four free talks on aspects of our local history on Wednesday, July 7. The Local History Day will take place online this year via Zoom.
The programme includes:
10am Our Region Revealed – A Digitisation Project at the Devon and Exeter Institution by Emma Laws, Director of Collections and Research: A discussion on the project to digitise the prints and drawings collection at the Institution and how to access it.
11.30am Arthur Richardson – “The English Stradivarius” by Mark Norman, Crediton Library: The career of the highly respected Crediton-based violin maker whose blue plaque is on the library wall.
