CREDITON Library held its second Fun Palace, a weekend of free drop-in activities on Friday and Saturday, October 4 and 5, as part of a nationwide campaign.

Fun Palaces promote community at the heart of culture and culture at the heart of community, through an annual weekend of activities created by, for and with local people.

Library users were able to try out a Smoothie Bike during both days.

The stationary bike with attached blender was kindly donated by Tiverton ReROOTed and the fruit by Tesco, Co-op, Four Seasons and The Green House.

People of all ages had fun pedalling to power the blender of fruit to make delicious Smoothies.

There was also a chance for people to have-a-go at learning to fingerspell their names and trying some simple British Sign Language words and phrases with Library Supervisor, Sue Lee.
