CREDITON Library staff were pleased to extend their hours and open to the public for longer from Monday, June 21.

Book browsing, photocopying and free one-hour computer access are available. Choose and Collect is also still available for those customers who would prefer to continue with this service.

At present, Crediton Library’s opening hours are still slightly adjusted in order to help maintain a covid-secure environment:

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday: 9am – 4pm and Saturday: 9am – 12 noon.

All customers who enter the library are still requested to wear a mask (unless exempt), maintain two metres from other customers and staff, sanitise their hands on entry and take part in Test and Trace.

Crediton Library respectfully asks customers to take along the exact change for printing or photocopying services to reduce cash handling. The library is also required to reduce its building capacity and so, on occasion, customers may face a short wait to enter the library.

Devon Libraries’ digital library remains open; customers can download and stream free eBooks, Audiobooks, eMagazines and eNewspapers from its extensive collection.

Crediton Library is managed by Libraries Unlimited, the charity responsible for running Devon and Torbay Libraries.
