AT the February meeting of Crediton Flower Club members produced their own arrangements using, as an accessory, something which they held dear.

The stories behind their choices were so varied, ranging from gifts received from or given to lost loved ones, photos, presents from dear friends, a Valentine’s card (it was February 14 after all!), an award received for services given, part of a wedding veil or simply just a favourite container or a memory of a favourite place.

It was a fascinating display and everyone chose and arranged flowers to compliment their own particular choice.

Mary Tasker gave a little resumé of them all and everyone enjoyed hearing the story behind each one.

The next meeting will take place on Thursday, March 14 at 7.15pm at the Boniface Centre and will be a demonstration by Gretchen White entitled “Living Art”.
