CREDITON Farmers’ Market says it had hoped to stage its first market after the easing of the coronavirus pandemic restrictions on Saturday, June 6, "but it didn’t quite make it!"

It says that there is "so much to think about to keep everyone safe".

In a statement it added: "We’re working hard to be able to hold the market on Saturday, June 20.

"Bear with us and thank you for your patience."
