CREDITON Dairy, which operates from Church Lane in the town, has been helping the elderly and vulnerable during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Locally it has supported Age Concern Crediton with the donation of cartons of Long Life Milk for distribution to elderly residents in the area currently being supported by the charity.

In addition, Crediton Dairy has donated cartons of milk to Exeter Communities Together CIC which is running a Coronavirus Hardship Relief Project for vulnerable Exeter residents.

The milk is being distributed to Exeter residents in need as part of emergency food parcels which are being delivered by 33 volunteer drivers across the city.

Phil Cork, Crediton Dairy Head of Milk Supply and Procurement, said: “Crediton Dairy is proud to be doing its bit to support those in need due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

“All our milk is supplied by farms in the Crediton and surrounding areas and nearly all of our staff live locally. As such we are always keen to play our part in helping the local community wherever we can.”
