A TOTAL of 26 girls from Fourth Crediton Brownies enjoyed a Hallowe’en sleepover at the Exeter Scout headquarters last week. They took part in climbing and archery activities during the evening as well as making Hallowe’en crafts to complete the “Witches and Wizard’s” Challenge Badge. Six girls were enrolled during the evening, five on the climbing wall (Abigail Baptist, Lily Birch-Hayes, Sophie Wallis, Esme Thurlow and Polly Brewer) and one whilst learning archery (Issie Richer). In the morning they enjoyed a couple of hours playing at Bear Feet before returning home. For 19 of the girls it was their first night away so they gained “One Night Away” Badges.
