THE Exeter based housing association, Cornerstone, has now fully let its second scheme of affordable homes to local people in Crediton.

Louise Williams moved in just over a month ago with her husband Colin and two sons Michael and Christopher who are all thrilled with their new home, which features fantastic views over the market town and even across to Dartmoor!

Said Louise Williams: "Words can't describe how much we love our new home! To have more space for the kids including an open plan living area and garden is fantastic, even the cat is happier!

"I have always lived in Crediton, but in the last few years we've struggled to be able to afford the space we need with two children.

"Our oldest son, Michael ,absolutely loves spending time in the garden and it's been invaluable to be able to sit up as a family and eat dinner together."

The new homes on Alexandra Road consist of three large one bedroom flats at ground floor level, three two bedroom flats on the first floor and three two bedroom flats with gardens at lower ground floor level.

The development was built to a high standard by local firm EHB Developments and features a modern central heating system and parking. The new homes are also in walking distance of the local schools and amenities.

Cornerstone remain committed to providing much needed affordable rented housing in Crediton since purchasing their first scheme of 10 properties in February 2009.
