THE Vienna Festival Ballet celebrate 35 years with their Anniversary Gala Tour.
Held at Exeter's Corn Exchange on Friday March 13, the venue was well suited to showcase the event which featured highlights from the world's most beloved Tchaikovsky ballets. These included the moment when the Swan Queen meets her prince in Act 2 Swan Lake, the Dance of the Cygnets, Clara's journey to a glittering land of snow in The Nutcracker, and the famous Rose Adagio from Sleeping Beauty, where Princess Aurora is introduced to four princes.
Vienna Festival Ballet was founded in 1980 by the vastly experienced Austrian dancer and artistic director, Peter Mallek.
Whether you are looking for more classic arts, off the wall plays, rock and pop acts or a laugh out loud performance, there is plenty of choice at the Corn Exchange.
There are also regular dancing events held at the licensed venue.
