DEVON Farming Community Network will be holding two induction events for people who want to know more about the charity’s work and particularly welcome will be those who are considering volunteering with the charity.

Joanne Jones, assistant co-ordinator for Devon FCN, said: "There are lots of ways you can help, including: befriending, visiting, fundraising, administration, show displays, giving talks, event and service planning, telephone helpline, finance and much more!"

The first event will take place on Monday, June 11, at 7.30pm, at Duke Street Methodist Church, South Molton, with the second event on Tuesday, July 3 at 7.30pm at The Amory Building, Devon YFC Centre, Cheriton Bishop.

All are invited to attend and Joanne says that current volunteers will be on-hand to answer questions.

She added that a presentation will be given about FCN and said light refreshments will be available.
