THE Crediton office of recruitment agency, Concept Staffing, closed its doors for the final time on Monday, November 23.

The office, at 103 High Street, was one of Concept Staffing's first branches to open in the region.

Karen Sharpin, Concept's divisional manager, told the Courier: "Over recent weeks we have been steadily migrating the services we provide to our clients and candidates from around the Crediton area to our neighbouring Exeter and Okehampton branches.

"To date this has been received well and has operated successfully."

She continued: "No company has been immune to the challenges brought about by the current economic conditions and therefore by transferring our entire operation over to these branches we will continue to remain proactive and responsive to all our clients and job-seekers."

Concept Staffing is a subsidiary company of Acorn Recruitment Ltd, whose registered office is in Newport, South Wales.
