CHERITON Fitzpaine Methodist Church was transformed into a Display of Collections during a recent weekend.

Villagers emptied shelves, cupboards, sheds and attics to take the collections to the Church.

Items included: Glass clowns, guitars, semi-precious stones, china, shells, box brownies, pre-decimal coinage and football memorabilia (West Ham).

Amongst the children’s entries was a model Hogwarts Academy (Harry Potter), organised by Emily Skinner, aged 11.

Lunch and light refreshments were available during the day and donations amounted to £200. Thanks go to Barbara and Mike Pratt who organised the whole event.
