THE Crediton and District committee of Macmillan Cancer Support held a three day store collection at Morrisons superstore, Crediton, on December 11 to 13.

A total of £792.19 was raised. May I take this opportunity to thank the manager and staff of Morrisons for allowing us to collect at their store.

I would also like to thank the collectors who gave their time and to everyone who supported the collection.

Special thanks must go to the gentleman who, during the two days, left a bag of change for our collection. When checking the bag contained £29.25. This was included in the total amount raised.

Macmillan Cancer Support offers a range of services, including nursing care to those suffering from cancer and their immediate families.
