ONCE again, Colebrooke Parish Hall was lined with stalls selling home made cakes, plus plants, books, games, toys, and more to raise funds for St Andrew’s Church next door.

The fair had been organised by the Parochial Church Council and, being such lovely weather, it spilled out into the courtyard with the barbecue and tables to sit in shelter from the sun. At least 80 scones had been baked for the cream teas, all the cakes and buns for tea were mostly made by Mrs Pennington, including a tray full of chocolate eclairs.

Am amazing total of £1,100 was raised for church funds.
