SAINT Matthew’s Church at Coldridge will host its Harvest Festival at 5pm on Saturday, September 18.

Harvest gifts of groceries and fresh produce will be welcomed during the service and these will be donated to the Amber Foundation at Chawleigh, towards its work in helping support disadvantaged young people to make new and purposeful lives.

The collection will be sent to the Farming Community Network who help in fostering the mental health and welfare of the farming community.

The service, suitable for all ages, will be led by the new parish priest, Rev Robert Gordon.

The church will be decorated with a harvest theme for the service.

There will be a bring and share supper in the church after the service, and if by chance you cannot get there for 5pm, then you are invited to go along afterwards.
